For more than two decades, the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation has been educating and empowering the next generation of Hispanic business leaders and entrepreneurs. We do this through a variety of programs and scholarships that support business growth, encourage entrepreneurship, and influence our chambers to better serve their local communities. The USHCC actively promotes the economic growth, development and interests of more than 4.2 million Hispanic-owned businesses that, combined, contribute over $668 billion to the American economy every year. It also advocates on behalf of 260 major American corporations and serves as the umbrella organization for more than 200 local chambers and business associations nationwide. Each year, due to the funds raised at this gala and our many sponsors, the USHCC Foundation is able to equip thousands of entrepreneurs and business owners with the financial and technical resources, communications networks, and business acumen they need to succeed.

At the 2019 Gala, we will be celebrating the power of the entrepreneurial spirit and the diverse backgrounds that make up this community.

Robust Programs

From our BizVenture Entrepreneurship Program to the At the Table: Women in Business and Leadership initiative, the USHCC Foundation focuses on equipping today and tomorrow’s entrepreneurs and executives with the skills and resources needed to lead thriving businesses and organizations, create American jobs, enrich local communities and reach their full potential.

And the all of the proceeds from tonight’s event fund all of these robust programs and an array of scholarship programs.

BizVenture & Tables to Opportunities

Our BizVenture Collegiate Entrepreneurship Competition is the USHCC Foundation’s premier program to spur the entrepreneurial spirit in college students. During a three day pitch competition, BizVenture business coaches show participants how to create business plans, proposals, and pitches as well as provide mentorship to guide them along the way. The three winners receive a scholarship and will be honored at the annual USHCC Foundation Gala.

Tables to Opportunities (T2O) is a networking session that connects the business leaders of today and tomorrow to provide our next generation of entrepreneurs with mentorship and career support. T2O accomplishes this by facilitating multiple conversations between T2O mentors and BizVenture students where mentors deliver advice in a small group setting.

At the Table: Women in Business and Leadership

At the Table: Women in Business and Leadership is one of the key initiatives the USHCC Foundation built to support future female business leaders and ignite the entrepreneurial spirit of communities across America. This initiative is comprised of two components: The Enterprise Accelerator and the Speaker Series. The Enterprise Accelerator program gives participants access to tailored business and leadership training and the opportunity to strategically grow their network. The Speaker Series allows us to highlight the incredible women entrepreneurs, corporate executives, politicians and other trailblazers that are leading the nation’s economic and social growth.

Chamber Training Institute

The USHCC Foundation Chamber Training Institute (CTI) is a 2-3 day accelerated training workshop that focuses on providing local chamber and non-profit business organization leaders with the training and tools they need to work more effectively to strengthen their local business communities. Presented by faculty from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business, these trainings explore a range of topics including industry best practices, executive development, grant writing, and leadership training.

National Day of Service

The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) Foundation’s National Day of Service is a means to give back and strengthen chambers’ local communities. Each year, in December, the USHCC Foundation and many of its local chamber leaders from across the country partner with local charities and organizations to volunteer and provide support for their local neighborhoods.
